This durable credit card style design is an optional addition to the standard paper for annual licenses and fits easily in your wallet. Up to 7 valid annual licenses will be printed on the card and mailed to you.

This electronic Federal Waterfowl Stamp is valid for 45 days. A physical stamp will be mailed to the purchaser within this 45 day time period, and this stamp is then valid until the date listed on the stamp. This electronic stamp issued by the State of South Dakota will, during the effective period of the electronic stamp: bestow upon the licensee the same privileges as are bestowed by an actual stamp; be nationally recognized as a valid Federal migratory bird hunting and conservation stamp; and authorize the purchaser to hunt migratory waterfowl in any other State, in accordance with the laws of said State governing that hunting.

Migratory birds that require this certification for hunting include ducks, geese, tundra swan, Sandhill crane, mourning doves, snipe and coot. This certification should not be confused with the Federal Waterfowl Stamp.

Residents age 18 or older to hunt pheasant, grouse, partridge, quail, cottontail rabbit, and tree squirrel. This license also includes the privileges of the Predator/Varmint License which allows you to hunt (but not trap) coyote, red and gray fox, skunk, raccoon, badger, prairie dog, ground squirrel (gopher), crow, jackrabbit, porcupine and marmot.
